Water aerobics is a great form of exercise if you have an injury or if you don’t enjoy exercise that puts too much strain on your muscles and joints. By exercising in the water, you’re able to exercise without putting stress on your muscles and joints. The water provides great support to your body, while challenging your strength and endurance.
At the Sportscenter Fitness & Athletic Club, you’ll find three different kinds of water aerobics. We have our Advanced Deep Water class, which is a 45-minute non-impact class. This class takes place in the deep end of the pool and has an optional lower body workout. If this sounds like you, you can attend the Advanced Deep Water class every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 9:00 am.
Another class we offer is our Shallow H20, which is a 45-minute class. This is an intermediate class, where you can build muscle strength and work on your flexibility while getting an aerobic workout. Shallow H20 takes place in the shallow end of the pool and you can attend this class Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 10:00 am.
Our Fit ’n Fun class is 45 minutes long and it’s great for people who have medical conditions, such as arthritis, multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, and chronic illnesses. You can find this class on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 11:00 am.
