Improve Mind and Body Awareness with Yoga at The Sportscenter’s Concord Gym
Yoga is a type of exercise that has numerous benefits to both your mind and body, and every fitness level is welcome to participate in yoga group exercise at our Concord gym.
At The Sportscenter Fitness & Athletic Club, we offer two types of yoga: YoFitga and Gentle Yoga.
- YoFitga is a Vinyasa yoga that offers traditional poses to increase strength and flexibility. You’ll feel rejuvenated after working through the four phases of each class:
- A warming phase
- A working phase (which includes sun salutations, traditional warrior, and triangle poses)
- A cool down phase
- Gentle Yoga offers a slower pace that focuses on health and relaxation. A certified trainer will guide you through different poses — with special attention to breathing and awareness – for an exercise experience that will leave you feeling centered, balanced, and stress-free.

YoFitga and Gentle Yoga classes are held in the Group Fitness Studio at our gym in Concord. You can bring your own yoga mat, if desired; mats and balance blocks are also available for your use. Shoes are not required in the yoga classes.
