The Sportscenter Fitness & Athletic Club in Concord has one of the largest tennis facilities in the region with the best services for our local tennis lovers. We are proud to offer several features for our members, including the United States Tennis Association (USTA) leagues, Inter-club leagues, Junior Academy, monthly socials, and other programs throughout the year. Our two USTPA professionals on staff, are more than eager to offer private, semi-private, and group lessons to our members.
The Sportscenter Tennis program in Concord features 9 soft courts (5 clay courts + 4 clay tech courts) and a two-story clubhouse with a full-service pro shop. We believe in the best of the best, so we have USTPA professionals as part of our staff. Not only are you getting exercise, but you’re also learning from the best.
Sportscenter Tennis offers various programs for beginner to advanced players. With many options to choose from, we can create a custom tennis program just for you. If you’re a beginner just getting started we have lessons to teach you good techniques and strategies. For the more advanced players we offer inter-club leagues that will test your skills against some of the best players in the area.
Whether your child is just learning or is a seasoned player we have a program that is right for you. We offer a variety of options for our Junior Academy including Quick Start for beginners, Training Academy for the competitive, Select Academy for premier play, summer camps, USTA Junior Teams, and private or semi-private lessons for all ages and skill levels.
We believe that teaching character, honesty, integrity, self-reliance and independence is paramount to success in the sport of tennis. We further believe that it is essential that players develop equal skill proficiency in all areas of the court. Finally, it is our goal to teach percentage strategy and tactics for doubles and singles play and to aid each student in developing a game style consistent with their strengths, interests and goals.
